Infill or product replacement? What to mention before booking
“Infill” is one word in a booking menu, but your nails can tell a much longer story. Knowing when your set was done, whether any nails are damaged and whether you are bringing another technician’s work helps me plan your appointment.

When might this be right for you?
You already have extensions and want to refresh the regrowth, shape or colour.
Why does the age of the set matter when booking?
What looks like a simple colour change may involve more work when there is substantial regrowth or damage. Some of the appointment then needs to be spent on preparation, removal and correction. I want to give those stages proper attention without rushing.
At my salon we allow for product replacement from the fifth week onward, so please book an infill plus removal. This is my booking rule, not a universal definition used by every salon. If you are unsure what you need, a call beforehand can make the appointment clearer for both of us.
What can you expect at my salon?
I check the existing product, shorten and reshape where needed, complete the infill and apply your chosen colour. Small adjustments are included; rebuilding broken nails or making substantial corrections may require additional work.
Extra removal or product replacement can take more time and incur an additional charge. We discuss the work needed and the expected total before starting.
What should you include when booking?
As a new client arriving with another technician’s work, book an infill plus removal.
From the fifth week onward, also book an infill plus removal, as product replacement needs to be allowed for. Call beforehand if unsure. Add separate nail art and broken-nail repairs so we can work without rushing.
