Gel reinforcement without extensions: keeping your own length
Many people associate gel with long extensions. Yet we can also use it at your existing natural nail length. The aim is then to create a suitable structure and shape, without making the nails longer.

When might this be right for you?
You want to retain your natural length, but your nails, desired shape or daily hand use call for an alternative to reinforced gel polish.
Why separate the choice of product from the choice of length?
Two nails of similar length and colour can be made using different techniques. A short nail can still have gel reinforcement, and using a builder product does not necessarily mean adding length. We first discuss what you want to keep and what you want to change.
Shaping and filing gel offers different possibilities from reinforced gel polish. Your natural nails and the result you want help us choose. I do not want a technical term to lead you to the wrong appointment: saying that you like the length but want a different shape is a perfectly helpful starting point.
What can you expect at my salon?
I reinforce your natural nails with builder gel without adding length. Shaping and filing the product offers more scope to adjust the structure.
The aim is a balanced result that suits you, using a product and technique chosen for the condition of your natural nails.
What should you include when booking?
Book removal if you arrive with another technician’s work, and add any separate nail art. If a broken nail needs its length restored, select a repair and tell me how many nails are affected. If you cannot find the right booking option, call and I will help.
