Milky shades and a well-groomed pedicure
Milky pink, delicate nude and clean milky white look polished in every season. A subtle colour is at its best only when the shape is comfortable and the surrounding skin is prepared carefully.
Toenail shape should be safe
Toenails generally should not be cut excessively short or rounded deeply at the corners. Over-cutting the corners or pressure from tight shoes can cause discomfort, so natural growth direction and footwear habits both matter.
Gel polish should remain thin and even. A toenail that is too long or too thick can be compressed inside closed shoes, affecting comfort as well as durability.
Why are milky colours so versatile?
Translucent, creamy shades visually even out the nail plate without looking heavy. They feel fresh with sandals and discreet and neat during closed-shoe seasons.
A pink or beige suited to your skin tone may be softer than opaque white. For a special detail, a fine French line or one tiny accent is often enough.
Home care and warning signs
Keep feet clean and dry, choose breathable shoes in the correct size and never share nail-cutting tools. Moisturise the surrounding skin regularly, but do not push sharp objects under the nail.
If a nail thickens, turns yellow or white, becomes crumbly, hurts, or the surrounding skin is red and swollen, seek advice from a pharmacist or doctor before applying a cosmetic coating.
